EVENT SIGNAGE DESIGNS

This signage was designed for use by charitable event organizers and includes a photo/stage backdrop, lawn signage, sandwich board signage, and a feather flag design.

BOOK COVER DESIGNS

This book cover was designed for the novel "Revenge Never Rests" in 2022 for Covenant Communications, Inc. This suspense novel includes conspiracy, government agents, and intrigue, along with a bit of romance as the plot unfolds.

This book cover was designed for the novel "A Waltz with Traitors" in 2022 for Covenant Communications, Inc. The book is historical fiction, set in the former Russian Empire of the early 1900's. The Czechoslovak Legion takes over the longest railroad in the world while the aristocratic Nadia Linskaya falls for Filip, a Czech soldier and the two attempt to survive in the new world.

For this project, redesigned and illustrated the covers for the lesser-known "Formic War" series by the well-known author Orson Scott Card, to give them a modern twist for a new audience. Because of the hive-like nature of the ant-like aliens in the books, I included a honeycomb hexagon pattern on each cover. The chosen futuristic, geometric font, Strasua, gives the design a modern, space-age feel while the tri-color palette of purples, oranges, and greens reflects the same. In addition to the color chosen for each book, the graphic symbol/image I created for the center of each cover gives clues to the main plot idea of each story.

INTERACTIVE MAGAZINE

I created an interactive magazine-style travel guide, documenting my trip down the Oregon Coast on a bicycle with my partner. All of the photography was produced by my partner or me, and the entire magazine was designed, laid out, written, and created by me using Adobe InDesign.

These are examples from a custom-designed, illustrated, and researched 32-page guidebook and activity book on Yellowstone National Park. The typeface was designed by Julie Olson as well.

PACKAGE DESIGN

This essential oil bottle label, tag, and product package design center on the meaning behind the word "resilience." The bottle shape is curved and inviting, with bamboo elements on the lid. The outer packaging that the vial comes in is a cylinder made of bamboo.
